Good products, incredible place. The only flaw was some issues with the order process, which were quickly resolved by the legendary Gerardo (I think that's his name).

I come in for a coffee at the counter, 4 people, but there's no one to serve at the moment. I ask for a small coffee with a €10 in hand... He says, "Give me a receipt..." Okay, right... At the checkout.... 3 people Including 1 who needs to buy something, like chocolate and coffee.... 2 credit card swipes... etc. I pay.... I go back to the counter You ask me what... okay... a small coffee.... Which you could have already had me make before... and then pay, given the line at the checkout. Total: 8 minutes for a coffee where there was no one at the counter. Oh well!!!!

Every time I come to Florence I always have breakfast and snacks in this renowned pastry shop, I thank all the staff, from the dessert ladies to the bartenders and cashiers, for the kindness received over the years.

Coffee and Cream Puffs, 8. Place, 7. Service and friendliness, 10. Coffee and Cream Puffs with a very good cream, a very '70s/'80s flavor that's hard to find elsewhere. Historic place, but it could only use some updating, especially the lighting, music, and furnishings, especially the tables and chairs, while still preserving its wonderful style. Compliments to Francesco, the very kind young man at the cash register, smiling and very professional, and also to his colleagues at the counter, a bearded man, and a tall woman in the pastry area. The most important detail is always the service and, undoubtedly, the friendliness. Thank you 💯 💥 👍 🌟

28/01/2026: We stayed at this property for one night from January 24th to 25th. We're leaving this review hoping it'll be helpful. We have no reason to make up lies about the property. So, we'll just tell the truth. The location is excellent. It's right in the middle of everything a tourist could want, and you can reach it on foot. The welcome is excellent. Mrs. Maria is simply a fantastic person. A woman from another era who warms your heart from the very first words. The housekeeping is excellent. Everything is neat and tidy. However... our night's sleep wasn't at all adequate. We were at level 5 tired. The bed is truly a disaster. It's tilted to one side, so you almost fall to the floor. Plus, there's a strange noise that we couldn't quite figure out, starting after a short break and buzzing for a few dozen minutes. This went on all night. Conclusion. If we return to Florence one day, we'll stop by this property to say hello to Mrs. Maria. We'll also ask if they have a room available without the problems we encountered. And if they do, we'll even stay with them. I hope they can fix it.

29/09/2025: The atmosphere is limited. I had a really good pizza, light and tasty. In the summer, when temperatures are lower, you can definitely enjoy the cool air. Definitely worth trying again.
23/08/2025: I brought the Family and Relatives (snakes🤣) for my birthday, August 5th. We ate outside in the square and there were many seats far apart, pleasant temperature for the latitude but bring mosquito spray, good pizza but I recommend the FOCACCE🤤 (Outstanding) the appetizers were good.
