Bar Scimone In Palermo

It is a nice place by the beach to have a quick bite or have a proper meal, it has a lot of options for pastry and ice cream, but we chose to eat some dishes. They didn’t heat either of our dishes, they were straight out of the counter, they were okay, we order black rice with fish and tabbouleh with seafood. And caponata. All was good apart from tabbouleh, which was lacking taste. And the cashier didn’t include cappuccino so we had to wait in two lines just to reorder cappuccino. Nonetheless, the place is really clean, friendly stuff and I think will also try some pastry. I would give it more stars, it is just my honest opinion

We bought some pizzas and caprese sandwiches for the beach, and it was a great choice. Freshly made sandwiches, super soft bread, and super friendly service from everyone.

Delicious canolo, friendly staff

I've known this place on TikTok, and seeing their products convinced me to stop by. It's located on the famous Mondello seafront. I tried both the arancina and the cannoli, and the gelato: I tried all the flavors of the arancina; the traditional one was the best, followed closely by the butter one. The pistachio one didn't convince me (I didn't taste the pistachio), and the eggplant one was a bit heavy. The cannoli are average for Palermo. One thing I didn't like was that they were pre-made; the shell wasn't super crunchy, but the ricotta was good. The gelato was good, but the Sicilian cannoli flavor wasn't anything special, very cold, and lacked flavor. Overall, a nice little place; if you're in Mondello, it's a good stop. The staff was a bit cold.

The ricotta and cream "apostle's fingers" are delicious.

Every time I come to Mondello, Scimone is a must. The gelato and deli are unbeatable. The apostolic fingers are good, but nothing special.

I've been to this place, the donuts were delicious, I was disappointed by the ice cream with small brioches and paid €3.80 for my opinion expensive and above all the ice cream could be seen with a telescope😞

Siamo stati a questo Bar Friggitoria, gelateria quasi tutti i giorni a pranzo e colazione. Tutto ottimo, gelati spettacolari. N. 1 a Mondello. Prezzi ottimi, cibo di più.

Tutto buono ma pagare dei minuscoli dite di apostolo 1€ l'uno è scandaloso. La pasticceria si vende a peso non a numero. Peccato ci andavo spesso con gli amici ma abbiamo deciso di non andarci più perche ci siamo sentiti presi per i fon........
