I don't always agree with the reviews, but I should have read these... The service was unfriendly, bordering on rude, for an ice cream with a chemical taste that we didn't even finish...

The food was good and prepared quickly. The gentleman behind the counter was helpful and approachable, but unfortunately not as friendly as the lady at the register. I recommend paying the exact amount – the lady couldn't afford to give me 5 euros. When I collected the change myself and suggested the correct payment, I was told "everything is fine, what's the point?" The lady was stubborn. It was a failure.

One of Palermo's most authentic bars. A place to refresh the palate and the mind. Everything is five-star: the products, the staff, the courtesy. In my opinion, it also has untapped potential in terms of appeal given the space and location available. Exceptional.

I know it mostly for the deli, which is always excellent! The place is a bit old-fashioned... it could use a makeover. The service, even at the outdoor tables, is nonexistent. And the bar staff are often not particularly friendly. Advice: Get the deli and go outside!!

A gem. Fascinatingly good food, and clearly very popular. No one speaks English and everything is done the old fashioned way with payment in one place and ordering in another. Incomprehensible to a foreigner. The boss is floating on the outside.

28/12/2025: I went to this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday with my family. The owners Lorenzo and Giuseppe are always very kind, and the food was excellent, using local Madonie products. We'll definitely be back.
22/12/2025: Excellent selection of fresh mushrooms, including porcini and cardoncelli mushrooms, and a few pioppino mushrooms. Friendly staff, comfortable spaces, even for those with children. Highly recommended.

31/01/2026: This was our first time at this restaurant, which offers comfortable seating inside as well as plenty of space on the outdoor terrace surrounding the venue. We enjoyed a delicious aperitif, which began at 7:00 PM. The menu is varied (pizzas, sfincionelli, various sandwiches, piastrelle, and even pasta). The staff told us that the menu changes daily. For the fixed price of €9.00 per person, you can eat all you want with a drink of your choice. We recommend arriving just before 7:00 PM. We'll definitely be back.
09/10/2025: A nice place for aperitivo, after 7:00 PM, also accompanied by delicious appetizers. We opted for a non-alcoholic cocktail, which was mistakenly mixed with an alcoholic one, but they fixed it as soon as I noticed. The staff was kind and friendly. I suggest accompanying your drink with something more traditional, like pistachios, instead of the usual chips. A nice evening, a busy place, and lots of nice people.
