Bar Sanremo In Bellagio

This delightful restaurant in the vicinity of the Navigazione area is my favourite spot in terms of Bellagio restaurants with a view. I had the insalata di Gamberetti (it was very nourishing, but I would have preferred more shrimps in it), tiramisu (it was a dream) and limoncello (which I also enjoyed). The serving was very good and the food as well. I was here yesterday. So in August it seems to be a bit crowded, but I was lucky to have received a table closer to the lake. I will come back here.

We liked it from the start and even more after we asked there for two seats. The man we asked was so kind that he immediately looked for a table that was closest to the lake even if we did not request this necessarly and he kept his word even when two people were going there to that table and he told them nicely to wait in the queue to reserve them a table too. The food and drinks have been very good too especially the San Remo coppa with ice cream, whipped cream,strawberries and blue berries. The view is superb.

We had ice latte , americano but poor quality but the milkshake was ok. The table was near the port, nice location.

Net voor we de ferry namen hier een ijscoupe gegeten. Het ijs en de bijhorende garnituur waren zeer verzorgd. Mijn vrouw had een Bellini besteld. Ze kreeg een glas met een roze kleur en met een portie alcohol erin. In de verste verte niet vergelijkbaar met de originele Bellini.

Sitting under the grape vines looking over the lake while gorging on huge gelato Sundays is a great way to spend some time on a hot day. Menu is fairly basic, standouts being pizza, panini, toasties, tarts and icecream. Things that distract from the experience: constant ferry arrivals make a lot of noise and smell, as well as people smoking around you. Smoking is a disgusting and selfish act. It should be a crime with severe penalties, especially for the lady who was smoking on-top of her baby.

Located right on the water, lots of hustle and bustle. Loud. Café very good.

Good place to eat or have a drink, expensive but not expensive on Lake Como
