Very tasty pastries, the best ice cream in this area. Prices are moderate. Service is very fast, there are tables outside. I recommend 👍

Extraordinary pastries. Danish pastry and maritozzo with whipped cream are out of this world.

Historic Bar Romoli....in the African Quarter, I've been going there for many years...for me it's the true traditional bar in Rome....with always fresh cream....for the famous maritozzi....and you can also ask for it normally to enjoy a good coffee that is almost rare elsewhere.....) So I recommend this place.

It was my first breakfast at this pastry shop. I had to ask for the ingredients because I follow a somewhat specific diet, but the lady was kind enough to answer and their products are really good. 🫶🏼 Thank you so much.

After some difficulty finding parking, we finally managed to have breakfast at this pastry shop! We tried two options: the classic Maritozzo mai tamo and the creative Gabriella with cream. I liked the Maritozzo, especially for its well-made dough, although the cream flavor, initially strong, tended to fade a bit too quickly. The Gabriella, on the other hand, was covered in a sweet and pleasant cream, served with cinnamon or chocolate chips, an original and successful combination.

For me it is the point of reference forever, which welcomes me like my home. If we are lucky on that day - the croissant has just come out of the oven and they put the cold cream on at the moment - smelling the unmistakable aroma I can say that it is the moment of incredible, unique and mythical enjoyment. On Saturdays and Sundays it is often difficult to find a seat even at the standing counter, however, it is a sign that it is loved by everyone in the neighborhood.

A name that is a guarantee. Historic Roman bar and not only because it is also a pastry shop. Famous for its maritozzi with cream, which climb to the top step of the podium. But Romoli is not just maritozzo, it is a point of reference for the after-evening of the Romans who, if they want a croissant, are spoiled for choice. In addition to the classic croissants and the very well-known Danish croissants, there are the gabrielle in the flavors: cream and chocolate, pistachio and only cream. The entire biscuit sector is no less. Another important gem is the coffee with cream, with a bitter and delicate taste, accompanied by the sweetness of the cream. Fast and kind service. Prices appropriate to the quality that is used. Recommended and if you have not tried it yet, run to try the thousand delights of Romoli.

We ordered my brother's graduation cake because we knew this pastry shop had a good reputation. However, once we tasted it, the millefoglie was topped in the center and practically untopped on the edges; in addition, a layer of puff pastry was also a little further along in the cooking process. It's a shame because the parts where the topping was actually good were good - but on a circular cake, a good part of the cake was removed. In the photo, you can see a topped piece vs. the untopped one (I admit that in the photo, only one layer is visible, but I would have no reason to lie about it)

La qualità si sente, le cose sono buonissime alcune anche con buon rapporto qualità prezzo, però alcune volte mi lascia stupito. Scorsa settimana ho preso due zeppole fritte senza badare allo scontrino, sono tornato a casa e per curiosità ho voluto vedere, era meglio non farlo… 10€ due zeppole, mi dispiace ma è davvero troppo, è ingiustificabile.

Se si capita da queste parti ( o lo si fa capitare intenzionalmente!), è d'obbligo provare i loro maritozzi...ricetta classica con panna, sono freschissimi e ideali per iniziare la giornata!
