Good products, non-existent service

For me it is the point of reference forever, which welcomes me like my home. If we are lucky on that day - the croissant has just come out of the oven and they put the cold cream on at the moment - smelling the unmistakable aroma I can say that it is the moment of incredible, unique and mythical enjoyment. On Saturdays and Sundays it is often difficult to find a seat even at the standing counter, however, it is a sign that it is loved by everyone in the neighborhood.

What if Romoli wasn't there with his bundles? What would we do in the evening after dinner or after the cinema? But let's not forget everything else, especially giant husbandzzi with cream and all the pastries! A must!

Their Maritozzi with cream and their croissants prepared with passion are excellent.

Truly amazing desserts, a pleasure for the palate

Whatever you say, I like this historic pastry shop located on Viale Eritrea. Very famous for their maritozzi in my humble opinion and among the best in Rome by heart, in my opinion what needs improving is the relationship with the customers, sometimes I had the impression that the staff doesn't have much empathy with the customers, unless they are from the neighborhood and therefore know each other, apart from that I tried a chocolate bag some time ago, while today I had a zeppole with black cherry €5 in my opinion a little too much and a sort of swirl with cream and Nutella. Good products both in terms of cooking and dough, the only thing I would have liked was more cream in the zeppole given the cost, in any case a neighborhood pastry shop that even with some stumbles still has its say

La qualità si sente, le cose sono buonissime alcune anche con buon rapporto qualità prezzo, però alcune volte mi lascia stupito. Scorsa settimana ho preso due zeppole fritte senza badare allo scontrino, sono tornato a casa e per curiosità ho voluto vedere, era meglio non farlo… 10€ due zeppole, mi dispiace ma è davvero troppo, è ingiustificabile.

Se si capita da queste parti ( o lo si fa capitare intenzionalmente!), è d'obbligo provare i loro maritozzi...ricetta classica con panna, sono freschissimi e ideali per iniziare la giornata!
