Excellent food in a unique setting

Nice place and excellent food. Negative note: I made a reservation for two on Saturday night, but we ended up being the only ones there. The stove wasn't turned off, so the atmosphere was cold and the service was rather rushed, allowing them to close early. I think when I called to make a reservation the same day, they made a better impression by telling me they were closed. It's a shame because the place is worth it, both for the food and the atmosphere.

We enjoyed the menu and spent a pleasant time with the family in a relaxing atmosphere.

The Coumarial Bar and Restaurant was closed for vacation on the day of my trip, but I enjoyed the pleasant, vast, and well-maintained green space all around! Benches and tables for picnics, fountains with fresh water, and the option of using the barbecue (when the restaurant is open) in the more open spaces to enjoy the sun, as well as shaded spots under pine and fir trees on the hottest days! A delightful place, enlivened by the presence of carved wooden statues, large spaces, and paths for more or less strenuous walks. A starting point for excursions to higher altitudes...

Lovely place, picnic tables, everything well-kept, green area. In the restaurant, excellent traditional food in a welcoming place.

I only had a coffee. Beautiful place. A base for trekking excursions to unique places.
