Classic trattoria where you eat very well with generous portions, girls at the tables are quick and friendly. Definitely a regular stop when I'm in the area.

There were 3 of us and we were looking for a simple place to have lunch and they recommended Topo Gigio. We didn't have a bad time; the dishes were plentiful and the flavors good. In the dining room the waiters were kind and polite, but perhaps we had bad luck and we were the only one who didn't know the menu well and couldn't even explain how the restaurant worked: He sat us down at the table and verbally listed the 3 first and 3 second courses available and the side dishes. We had to ask ourselves if it was a fixed price menu or we could get the single dish and at what price. We had asked for 3 lasagna and 3 cutlets with a side of courgette flan. Shortly afterwards he informs us that the lasagna was finished. The other two first courses were spicy but could be made without chilli. We order the NO spicy gnocchi and the spaghetti with garlic, oil and chilli (only 2). Then we discover by listening to the other waitress from the next table that there were also tortelli with meat sauce. So we asked for a change and we also asked for 2 tortelli with meat sauce and the NO spicy gnocchi remained. They arrive: 2 tortelli ragù and SPICY Gnocchetto! ok mistake....maybe due to confusion.... I exchange dishes with my partner because he doesn't eat spicy, but I do a little. (Soft and good gnocchi). Then come the second courses: 3 cutlets (2 good, 1 really too thin; the meat must have been a millimeter thick. Practically just breading) and the side dish. Surprise SPINACH flan!! but where did the courgettes go??? Okay, let's eat spinach... it's still a vegetable! We get the bill and we were told full menu with first course, second course and side dish €13. We had a coke and 3 more coffees. Bill: €51. (13x3=39+coke and coffee...I'd say 5 euros too much). But we understood that the waitress didn't understand us much and we were ready to be told a price that didn't correspond to what was said at the beginning.

Topo Gigio is Topo Gigio!!! And I said it all!!! 10 and praise!!! If you have never been, run and try!!! As best I can, I always come back with great pleasure!!! Went yesterday and I'm already thinking about when I can go back!!! Top everything!!! Courtesy, friendliness from everyone and quality!!! Such a good flan only exists there!!!

Ottimi i piatti;da provare gli gnocchi alla topo gigio (per chi piace il piccante) . Personale gentile e disponibile. Servizio celere. Prezzi assolutamente nella norma (anzi più bassi)
