Sea view, excellent dinner, impeccable service!

I stayed at the Grand Hotel Cesenatico for work and had a truly wonderful time. The hotel is elegant, well-maintained, and in a perfect location, right on the sea and close to the city center. The room was spacious, clean, and very quiet, ideal for those who need to unwind after a busy day. The staff was always helpful and professional, attentive to every need. I also really enjoyed the breakfast, which was generous and excellent, with a sea view. Recommended for both business trips and relaxing getaways!

The Grand Hotel in Cesenatico is a historic property of great charm, boasting nearly a century of history, evident in every detail. The lobby is spectacular and evocative, with period furnishings that convey the elegance of days gone by. The outdoor spaces are also meticulously maintained and in keeping with the hotel's prestigious name. However, precisely because it is a Grand Hotel and not a mere 4-star, I believe some aspects deserve a modernization to live up to expectations. The rooms are showing signs of age, with dated furniture, and our double room consisted of two single beds pushed together. The bathroom, while functional, doesn't offer amenities worthy of a 4-star seaside hotel of this caliber: it lacks small amenities such as disposable body lotion, a common feature in similarly sized establishments, and there are no soap dispensers, which would encourage greater environmental awareness and a reduction in plastic waste. The minibar is also understocked, and the disposable plastic cups clash with the image of a Grand Hotel. The shower built into the tub is a bit awkward, as is managing the water with two separate handles. On the plus side, I really appreciated the excellent quality of the linens: custom sheets and soft, thick towels, truly superior. The service, both in the hotel and on the beach, was also impeccable, with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast, however, could be improved to offer an experience more in keeping with the hotel's name and history. My criticism is constructive: the Grand Hotel has every potential to return to its former glory and, with some modernization, not only maintain its four-star rating but perhaps one day even aspire to a fifth.

Ocean view room was magnificent. Staff is especially pleasant and helpful. We will be back!
