Welcoming place, but in need of a refresh. Good value for money. Low service level, partly because the staff can't quickly satisfy customers, as it's always busy. It's best to book a table, otherwise you risk a long wait.

Piazza Duomo Steakhouse

01/02/2026: Salerno's most important and iconic monument, dating back to 900 AD. A magnificent example of Romanesque architecture and an Arab-Norman bell tower. The interior was remodeled in Baroque style and in later centuries. The crypt, which houses the tomb of the apostle and evangelist Matthew, is enchanting.
07/01/2026: The church is beautiful, both the upper section and the crypt, a true gem. It's often said that Salerno doesn't have much to see historically, but it's actually beautiful. The crypt is unique. I highly recommend it.

02/02/2026: Beautiful location, very large room, there are even 2, one downstairs and one upstairs, friendly staff, very good food, the only flaw perhaps is the parking which then forces you to walk up a small hill.
22/01/2026: Spectacular!!!!!!!! The food is divine, the welcome and service excellent... It's not the first time I've been there for family events and other things..... The staff is kind, polite, professional... The owners make you feel at home, they are wonderful!.... I'll go again for my son's communion!!!! I absolutely recommend it. Whatever you want to eat is divine!!!!! It's all delicious!
