Bar Ristorante Da Peppino In Gesualdo

To tell the truth, I have been to this restaurant several times in the past and the quality of the products, the goodness of the pizza and the goodness of the prices should be recognized. In the last year, despite the change of management, it was maintaining the same characteristics of goodness and good service. At least at lunch. I passed there for the first time in the evening, after a few months, and I don't know what happened. The wait was far too long at the beginning, we're talking about 50 minutes for a first course and a pizza, and after the initial wait we found the second courses a few minutes after the first course but raw. Leaving aside the cloud of white smoke growing in the room, a perfect spaghetti was contrasted with a beautiful, thin pizza, but with a raw edge. Ordered sausage and chips and received frankfurters and chips. For the second courses I took a scallop, always spectacular, but this time it arrived without salt, it tasted like flour and was totally raw to the point of being rare. Inedible. Even the sausages were lacking in texture and crumbled when cut. Really a shame. I hope it was just a bad evening and that everything can be resolved with a little more attention.

I tried to write a review on Tripadvisor twice, but when sending it, it doesn't send the review, something comes out in a foreign language, basically it doesn't give you the opportunity to write your own review, because it was blocked this right to write one's opinion? when there was the old management, it was always possible to do it, now that there is this new management made up of all foreign people, it can no longer be done, it must be a coincidence!!! if it doesn't depend on the new management, they should either ensure that this situation is resolved, or exit Tripadvisor.

Staying nearby we visited twice, food was good, pizza and pasta, service was freindly and helpful. We felt welcome and were served quickly. No pressure to leave when we finished.

Unpretentious place with good quality food and good prices. Possibility of catering or eating a pizza. Specialty is panuozzo.

Semplice trattoria,con sala insignificante e terrazzo panoramico.Menu' vasto ma l'antipasto all' italiana è deludente.Molto migliori i fusilli in tegamino,modesto in qualità e quantità il dolce ricotta e pera. Servizio lento vista la quantità di avventori,discreto il vinello bianco con prezzi contenuti nel conto finale.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good and plentiful food, excellent value for money. We will be back.
