We went on a Friday evening without a reservation. The place was almost empty. The service was friendly, and the wait was zero; our food arrived less than 10 minutes after ordering. The price was fair: a panuozzo, a slice of veal, a bottle of water, and a salad, all for €27.50. Coffee was kindly offered.

A delicious trattoria run by lovely people. Take your time. Amazing meat, traditional first courses with handmade pasta... what more could you ask for? Plus, it's affordable.

I went to Da Peppino yesterday for lunch with my family. I was in Gesualdo to visit the castle. I searched online for restaurants and came across this one, which had good reviews and reasonable prices. So I booked, and we had lunch there yesterday. The restaurant's exterior is a bit unremarkable, but inside it's lovely, and they have a breathtaking view of the mountains. I imagine having lunch or dinner on the terrace in the summer with that view. The waiters (a very kind girl and an equally kind boy) listed the dishes for us and we chose. We chose 5 Italian-style appetizers to be placed in the center, 10 first courses, including cavatelli della corte and trofie a tegamino, 10 second courses including scallops in wine, grilled sausage, grilled scamorza and slice of veal pizzaiola, 5 central plates of French fries, tomato salad and grilled vegetables, water, two 1.5-liter Cokes, another can of Coke, 1 liter of wine, bitter and coffee and we paid about €23 per person. Quick service despite the large tables there. I recommend going there. The food is really good and everyone is very courteous. If I were to pass by again, I would go back.

We went for dinner and enjoyed every dish, from the first course (you can choose between two different dishes; we ordered the pan-fried pasta and the tagliatelle with truffle sauce) to the second course, including lamb, sausages, and braciola. The prices were reasonable, and the service was fast and attentive. Congratulations!

A discreet but clean and welcoming atmosphere. The service is good and the food is very ordinary, but tied to local traditions. Nothing special, but a place with service worth trying!

A simple restaurant with a beautiful and pleasant panoramic terrace. The food was good, but the difference was made by the person serving us: a petite and polite Colombian woman, who single-handedly supported the full room without losing her smile and kindness, despite the pressure (she even apologized for the somewhat slow service...). Credit where credit is due! The menu was quite varied and the prices were old-fashioned.

Amazing food, very good prices (we had spaghetti for €6,-, risotto for €8,- and a bottle of great wine for €16,-), very friendly staff, and a beautiful view from the terrace.
