Bar Restaurant Fauzia Longomare In Viareggio

My favorite breakfast in the world. An unmissable stop on my weekends and holidays in Versilia.

Waking up in the morning in Viareggio, knowing you are going to this bar, it’s a very special feeling. The atmosphere in summer walking along the passeggiata on holiday, it’s sublime. Enjoying looking at the paste displayed , smelling the aroma of the coffee and the fragrances of the cornetti….how exciting. The bar is small but it’s all it takes for your early morning breakfast. I wish I have this in Australia, a place for your ritual morning breakfast. Outdoor there is a nice area also under shelter in case the sun it’s too hot or when rarely in summer is raining. You stop here and you will understand.

The cream bombs are good, the custard is a little lacking in flavour. The puff pastries are good, however they leave an unpleasant greasy/greasy sensation in the mouth. Matter of taste.

A very good pastry shop/cafe. You order and pay inside and then you can sit outside and eat your pastries or drink your coffee. The prices are quite cheap compared to other European countries like Germany while the quality of the pastries is incredibly good. I highly recommend visiting Fauzia and having breakfast or a snack if you are at the beach or in Viareggia in general.

Good pastry shop, wide choice of sweet and savory. The cream bomb is very good, the coffee and cappuccino are good. Fast and friendly staff, nice and large clean bathroom.

Pleasant obligatory stop when we are in Viareggio, both for breakfast with the fantastic Bomba and for lunch and dinner with delicious dishes at a very good price. This year we ate red mullet on a bed of Polenta several times. Well done everyone: Gigi, his wife, Simone at the tables and all Fauzia's collaborators.

Io e mia cugina abbiamo fatto colazione in questo bar per tutta la durata della nostra vacanza... Caffè e lieviti ottimi, per non parlare del personale: sempre col sorriso! Quando c'è passione nel proprio lavoro si vede! Bravi!
