Where is the hospitality here? That evening, only four tables were occupied: three Italian guests and us. When the owner wasn't cooking in the kitchen, he was sitting at the Italian tables chatting with them. We weren't even acknowledged with a glance or a "tutto bene?" (everything alright?). We didn't feel welcome at all. The food was okay, but nothing special. The waiter was quick and considerably more hospitable than the owner.

We came for lunch by chance... And it's become one of those few favorite places, those places where when you want to eat out you say, "I'll go to Beach, I eat well and leave satisfied." The appetizers are excellent, the first courses are exceptional, and the second courses are unsurpassed... Generous portions, always fresh ingredients, dishes prepared to order. Artisanal desserts. Added value: local wines and olive oil from small local businesses. Finally, the friendliness and warmth of the entire staff, a very kind Barbara who, together with Michel, know how to welcome you, and an exceptional chef, Antonio, who puts his heart into what he does. An enviable location, just 3 meters from the sea.

We visited this restaurant for a company dinner on December 29, 2025. The welcome was perfect, with very helpful and friendly staff. The menu included three appetizers, including a superb brandacujun and a fantastic cuttlefish salad with vegetables. The seafood calamarata was an Oscar winner: perfectly cooked, delicious, and beautifully balanced in flavor. The baked sea bass for the main course was tender, perfectly flavored, and incredibly delicate. The desserts of your choice and the complimentary liqueurs rounded out an excellent dinner! Congratulations.

Bar Trieste

13/06/2026: A good hotel just steps from the center of Tarvisio. Very close to the Alpe Adria cycle path. Spacious rooms (we chose a family room for four) and a bike storage room. Clean surroundings, excellent restaurant for both pizza and local dishes. Good breakfast, reasonably priced.
12/06/2026: We stayed at the hotel with six people for a motorcycle tour. Parking was easy, as the property has a large, well-fenced outdoor parking lot with an automatic gate. The owners and staff are quite helpful and friendly. The restaurant and pizzeria (excellent pizza) are well-run and serve excellent lunches. Traveling from Sicily, some unexpected storms caused us to be quite late. We arrived at the hotel at 11:00 PM. Despite everything, we found people willing to cook outside of these hours. This was a real blessing, a sign of great hospitality and customer service. The breakfast was rich and plentiful, and to conclude, we spent four days in Tarvisio and the surrounding areas, and every evening we dined at the hotel. I RECOMMEND IT.
