A slightly hidden pizzeria near Venice train station, but they make very good pizzas at very good prices... from €8 to €12... good quality ingredients. The owner speaks a little Spanish. Highly recommended.

A small, neighborhood restaurant away from the tourist areas. The pasta is homemade and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The tiramisu is delicious. Attentive service. Highly recommended.

One of Venice’s few remaining “mom and pop” restaurants. No fancy decor and no fancy dishes on the menu. Just good, honest, home-cooked, traditional Venetian food, coupled with efficient, friendly service. A lively atmosphere and a good mix of tourist and local customers.

Ristorante Al Giardinetto da Severino

22/02/2025: Cercavo un ristorante non turistico e mi hanno consigliato questa osteria e faccio altrettanto. Gestione familiare e tutto buonissimo. Speciale mensione ai tagliolini al granchio: spettacolari. Posto da ricordare nelle prossime visite a Venezia.
10/12/2024: Einfach perfekt. Wir waren eine grosse Freundesgruppe, jeder hat sich wohlgefühlt. ServiesTop, Essen 100 Punkte, freundliche Bedienung, im Sommer ein grosser Garten, liegt auch ein wenig abseits der üblichen Wege. Wir kommen Wieder, Peter Nemeth

Trattoria Alla Laguna

29/12/2025: The food was average, meaning some appetizers were good, others were poor (either cold or bland). Fried food was dry. The tasting plate was not recommended. The veranda was cold. The staff was truly courteous and helpful. Top.
27/12/2025: Excellent welcome, excellent food, excellent service, we will return and return again... but certainly yess ...
