Bar Pizzeria Ristorante Cimone In Tonezza del cimone

I've eaten at this pizzeria and restaurant several times this summer. I've tried the pizza and a few pasta dishes, both very good. The atmosphere is very welcoming, with chairs that feel more like armchairs, and plenty of space. This place is therefore also suitable for families with children, as long as they don't expect to eat right away (which never happens). The quality of service is a bit uneven, depending on the day and how busy it is. Definitely remember to book!

Until a few years ago, this place was run as it should be. Unfortunately, with the change of management, things have changed for the worse. If you go at 7 pm for a bite to eat, they won't let you in unless you've made a reservation, even if all the tables are empty. They tell walk-in customers there's no room. Rather than double-checking a table, they lose customers. So one evening, I made a reservation for 7:30. Before telling me there was room, they checked the diary and after a while, they gave me the okay. I arrived and there was only one other table occupied. I ordered and ate. I saw people arriving asking for a table but they were turned away because they hadn't made a reservation. After a little over an hour, the table was free. The room has always been as empty as when I arrived. They preferred to turn away customers and keep the room empty. The management is very poor. It's a shame because there's a wonderful panoramic terrace and the place is right in the center.

Excellent dishes and not just pizza, also typical local mountain dishes.
