Excellent food. The place isn't luxurious, but ultimately, I prefer that it doesn't reflect on the bill 😉 Superb view, perfect welcome, absolutely delicious dishes... and not too expensive!! Enjoy your meal!

Everything was simply fantastic...the originality of the place, the food, the staff, and especially Danilo and Anna, two incredibly passionate people who continue the tradition of offering simple, authentic dishes! We had lunch at this Osteria on a hot Sunday at the end of June. We booked a table for two by phone and arrived at this quiet and familiar Osteria. The staff, especially the girl who served us, is very kind and helpful. The menu is written on blackboards and I think it changes from time to time, everything is fresh. The panzanella, acquacotta, pici all'agliata and, according to my partner, the wild boar Maremma style were delicious. I appreciated there being some vegetable options, I am a vegetarian. Beautiful details in the room, porcelain for the coffee directly from family heirlooms and the terrace with a spectacular view of the countryside. The bill is normal. Absolutely recommended!

Recommended tavern in the farmhouse where we were staying. We ate very well on their panoramic terrace: the pici made by them with sauce and their cured meats: a spectacle! Montemerano, ein verschlafenes Juwel in der Maremma, ist nicht nur für seine mittelalterliche Kulisse und engen Gassen bekannt, sondern auch für seine hervorragenden Osterien. Eine davon ist Dal Moro, wo wir einen unvergesslichen Abend verbracht haben – mit traumhafter Aussicht, authentischer toskanischer Küche und einer Atmosphäre, die gleichermaßen lebendig wie gemütlich ist. Ambiente & Service Die Dachterrasse bietet einen herrlichen Blick, und das Restaurant war durchgehend voll – ein gutes Zeichen. Viele Einheimische, viele Stammgäste. Der Chef selbst packt im Service mit an und nimmt sich Zeit für ein paar Worte mit den Gästen. Man fühlt sich willkommen, fast schon wie bei Freunden. Speisen & Getränke Der Abend startete mit einem klassischen Campari Spritz, begleitet von einer großzügigen Vorspeisen-Platte für eine Person – wobei „für eine Person“ hier eher untertrieben ist. Parmaschinken, Wildschweinschinken, Fenchelsalami, Lardo und Wildschweinpastete – bodenständig, herzhaft und typisch für die Region. Als Hauptgang entschied ich mich für geschmorte Wildschweinrippchen und Schulter in Tomatensoße mit Oliven, dazu frittierte Polenta und Bratkartoffeln – ein absolutes Highlight. Meine Frau wählte die hausgemachten Pappardelle mit Wildschweinragout, unser Sohn eine Pizza. Alles war auf den Punkt, voller Geschmack und von bester Qualität. Fazit Dal Moro ist eine Osteria, wie man sie sich wünscht: klein, familiär, mit einer konzentrierten Speisekarte und Gerichten, die durch Qualität statt Quantität überzeugen. Wenn man in der Maremma ist, sollte man sich diesen Ort nicht entgehen lassen. 5/5 – eine absolute Empfehlung!

Veramente un ottima scoperta. Ristorante a dir poco eccezionale, dal cibo al personale di sala di una gentilezza unica. Abbiamo mangiato un po’ di tutto dagli antipasti, primi e secondi. Per non parlare del dolce. Super consigliato!
