Every time we are in Rome we absolutely have to go there. Fast, uncomplicated and good food... Prices have gone up a bit this year, but still absolutely ok!!

Lunch with family during a visit to Rome. We got cacio e pepe, matriciana and spaghetti with tomato sauce for my little son. Generous and excellent portions. We had lunch outside, perfect service and a "homemade" environment with I think the owner was very nice. The lady who served us was also good and friendly and willingly exchanged a word even with the child. Average prices. I recommend it

24/03/2025: A dear friend took us to eat at this place after a show. He recommends fettuccine and we accept. We were actually satisfied right from the starter because it was plentiful and attention was paid to the smallest details. The fettuccine was phenomenal as they used to make it, beautiful rough and beautiful ignorant as real Romans like it. To then move on to the second courses which also arrived hot and hot and made with incredible skill. Not to mention the service which was fast, precise and smiling. A highly recommended place and we will happily return. Thanks for everything. A dinner to remember.
15/03/2025: Despite the time, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism at the Mattarello ai Parioli restaurant. The atmosphere of the place is welcoming and informal, perfect for an evening with friends or family. We tasted two typical dishes of Roman cuisine: fettuccine alla matriciana and fettuccine al Mattarello. Both dishes were exquisite, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The homemade fettuccine was al dente and the toppings were full of flavour. The quality-price ratio is excellent, considering the freshness of the ingredients and the care taken in preparing the dishes.
