The best carbonara I've ever eaten! You can taste the pecorino, and the pepper is in the right quantity. Creamy, obviously without cream, and excellent bacon. Unexpected.

Visited in a larger group for a short break with Italian coffee. It is located directly behind the former customs house on the federal highway behind the border. Friendly people and everything was great. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back.

Simple restaurant with excellent food. Down-to-earth Carnic cuisine with a great price-performance ratio. Very nice, courteous service. A perfect place to eat away from Tarvisio.

14/08/2024: I went to osteria Leon d'Oro last night and I have to say I was really impressed. The setting is charming and the atmosphere warm. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff. As for the food, every dish was delicious. The flavors were well balanced, and the ingredients fresh and quality. I particularly loved the tortelli alla zuccha, which was simply divine. This is a place I highly recommend to anyone who appreciates fine dining and quality service. I will come back without hesitation!
25/07/2024: The environment and the quality of what was served were more than satisfactory. I would like to make a note on the amount of work that the waiters have to carry out during peak hours. In my opinion it is not elegant to see them practically running between the tables.
