Bar Pirandello In Taormina

Bar/ice cream shop in a very strategic position, it is located a few meters after the shuttle stop that leaves from Park Lumbi. We had a coffee in the morning and it seemed decent.. In the afternoon we had a snack with a peach granita and croissants, which surprised us! Very good, tasty but not particularly sweet and the perfect brioche. I wasn't crazy about the environment, I would work on cleaning, especially the toilets!

Too bad it's almost on the road. However, delicious granitas and ice creams. Friendly, fast service and very reasonable prices.

Getting off the bus at the station, following the masses up the winding hill, the kids moaning they are too hot and hungry and then we find this perfect, little piece of air conditioned heaven. Seating inside and out to suit needs, it's a well stocked bar, ice cream freezer and a lovely selection of sweet and savoury pastries. Great selection, great seating, great price, yummy, perfect location for your first stop in Taormina.

Excellent typical products at a good price

Down-to-earth bar without much fanfare. Very attentive and nice service. Perfect for aperitivi with extensive snacks. Since it is a tourist walking route to the city center (bus stop and cable car station nearby), there is always something to see. We only had two evenings in Taormina after the first, but went straight back here the next and would do it again and again.

This place is fantastic! The staff are so welcoming and kind. The food and drinks are great! And they do not rip you off. Thisnis how you want Italy to be! It's absolutely brilliant and became our bar of choice. Please please please call in this little bar.

Had really good granite, a quiet street to enjoy. And really kind people are working there.

This café sits on the Via Luigi Pirandello which is the road that leads downhill to the bus terminus. We did use the busses on a few occasions during our holiday in Taormina, and often had to visit to find-out service timings and buy advance tickets. We passed this café often, and we did stop here for very good coffee and wine. We took advantage of the tables and chairs that were on the pavement immediately outside the open-fronted main dining area. The view wasn’t particularly interesting, but it was a good place to people-watch and it was convenient for the bus terminus which was about 10 minutes walk away. Having time to kill before our bus was due, this café was (unlike the bus terminus) both a convenient and pleasant place to wait. Service was both pleasant and prompt and the wine was much enjoyed, as was the coffee.

Very good bar. We were very well attended to by an employee. The arancinos there are delicious! We couldn't resist and had to take some with us.😋
