One of my favorite pastry shops in Ostia. It's centrally located near the Lido Centro train station. It's family-run, with friendly and welcoming staff. There's also a quiet back room. The croissants and pastries are always fresh and delicious, well-prepared and baked to be light on the palate.

The new Uova Gestione is excellent, with very good pastries and leavened products.

This is an amazing place where the food and coffee are good, the staff is really friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is local. Incredibly good prices, we were shocked. It feels like a family pwned business where everybody does their part. Highly recommend

The custard cream made by the Master Pastry Chefs at MaianiE is, in my opinion, the best I've ever tasted anywhere in Italy over the past six years. It's therefore my absolute number one when served in a baked "Zeppola di San Giuseppe." I believe it can be codified; it's inimitable. With such mastery in their art, they could create something grand, exclusive, and present it to the world. As for the management, I believe it's right to add that the professional who handled my request at the dessert and breakfast counter made sure to provide the requested products on an elegant, finely packaged, and adequately sized tray, despite containing mostly breakfast yeasts. This procedure, though seemingly "small," clearly demonstrates the attention to detail, both on the part of the company and specifically of the pastry staff who served me: refinement and kindness, love for their profession, and professionalism—elements that confer an invaluable score.
