Bar Pasticceria Fichera is much more than just a pastry shop: in addition to desserts, it also serves first and second courses, making it a versatile destination for a lunch break or a snack. The staff is friendly, especially the waitress who served me. I tried an arancino, which I thought was a bit salty, and a truly excellent cannolo: a crunchy shell, fresh ricotta, and slightly sweet, balanced, and well-made. The cannolo alone is worth the stop. The only negative: the 25-minute wait for an arancino; perhaps they were making it fresh, but it's worth considering if you're short on time. Regarding parking, we're in Sicily, so there's no shortage of "creative" parking, but the nearby Villa parking lot is free and convenient if you want to avoid hassles. In conclusion: desserts pass, friendly service, and some room for improvement in wait times.
