My son says "the temple of food". And how can you blame him?! Very nice place, family and welcoming atmosphere, very kind and relaxed service, but the strong point is the food: simply delicious!

Delicious food, friendly service, beautiful venue in a fabulous setting. Interesting to have a choice of both wines and craft beers, not a given at all!!! An additional compliment for the Asado de Tira, a difficult cut which however was prepared practically to perfection!

The Cavalo tavern is a real tavern. We've already been a couple of times and it doesn't disappoint. The quality of the food is remarkable, and so are the culinary skills of those who cook it. The menu is varied, offering typical Venetian and Lessinia products, but also excellent products from various areas of the world, (Polish beef, Portuguese sardines...) Kind and friendly staff, the cuisine is slow, everything is freshly prepared and you can see it! Sit down, order and enjoy the relaxation of a lunch or dinner with friends. The wild boar ragù, the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and the skewers are excellent, and the idea of ​​composing your own platter to your liking is nice. Prices are appropriate to the quality and freshness of the products offered. We will definitely be back to try other dishes!

In addition to the enchanting setting, the food is really very, very good. And the two very are not a mistake. The hospitality of the owners/staff is the icing on the cake. The prices are more than honest for the products offered. ABSOLUTELY GO THERE, even if it costs a little distance it is absolutely worth it. The only problem is that once you've tried the experience you won't be able not to come back to try the rest of the menu 🙂😄

Waren unterwegs im Valpolicella und kamen zufällig in diese Osteria. Geschmacklich gut, für sehr kleinen Portionen preislich allerdings sehr hoch angesetzt. Schade … ansonsten nämlich eine recht urige Gaststätte.
