Bar Orchidea In Roma

We visited Rome for 6 days and tried so many different gelaterias, including the most famous and recommended ones. Well, no other gelateria could beat this one - all of the tastes are AMAZING, my personal favorite is the Nougat. On the 3rd day we decided that we won't try any other places, because the gelato here is out of this world. You can sit inside, where it's very well air conditioned and not crowded at all, although this place deserves to be crowded.

We weren't going to go in, but we were invited in so warmly (a rare thing in Italy) that we changed our plans and had lunch here. It was very quiet and pleasant, and we were quickly served our food, which was very good. Thank you.

Cappuccino at the counter and another day sitting at the table. Surcharge clearly indicated. Staff all very kind and professional, dressed appropriately. Before criticizing too much, consider that they have to deal all day with a delirium of people from all over the world, plus there is an infernal noise from the street. So, well done. Too bad I have to leave, otherwise I would have stopped for lunch.

Kind and professional, good coffee and fresh croissants. I will gladly come back now that I know him.

I have not experienced anything like the comments that say it is a scam. My children ate very well here, I didn't eat but I drank a pint of beer. Good attention from the waiters and standard prices for Rome.

Stopped here for lunch, and the food was good, but it was spoilt the atmosphere when they were putting a frame up just behind us while we were eating. Also, when we asked for the bill, no one came to our table, but we had to go and pay for it.

Excellent cappuccino, fragrant and good croissant, excellent artisan products, tarts, biscuits, desserts. Service at the counter and at the tables, friendly and helpful. I recommend it to everyone as it also offers the possibility of eating for lunch, with ever-changing menus or enjoying an excellent ice cream.
