Bar Nilo In Napoli

The coffee was of average taste. The staff and/or owners seemed to be doing their jobs reluctantly. I added one star to my original rating out of respect for Maradona.

We were in a bit of a hurry, but our plan was to have breakfast at this veritable shrine to Diego Armando. His spirit still lives on in every corner of the bar, which serves excellent coffee and pastries like croissants. We had two chocolate ones. Spectacular. I didn't take any more photos of all the Argentine footballer memorabilia on display, but it's really cool. I recommend stopping by for a drink and seeing it up close.

A lock of Maradona's hair. You have to go there.

A small, centrally located café. Its unique feature is a shrine dedicated to Maradona and all sorts of Maradona memorabilia. A tourist trap.

I went with high expectations to learn part of Maradona's story, but the owners are already tired.

Very friendly people... delicious coffee

The older barista was cool. There was a piece of Maradona's hair on display. People would come into the cafe, take pictures of Maradona's hair without ordering coffee, and then leave, so the female employee kept getting angry. The coffee tasted like a typical Italian cafe.

The smooth sfogliatelle are very good

Even in Naples, I managed to find my favorite bar. The owners were welcoming and very kind. I recommend it... also for the good wine.
