Bar Nela In Uggiate-trevano

Today I found myself in Uggiate by chance, incredibly hungry. I happened to walk into this bar, Bar Nela, and was greeted by a super cute and super busy girl. The bar is truly charming and unique, a must-see. I asked if they had any vegan food, and this girl, named Martina, rattled off a five-star menu, including pasta with vegan ragù and soy meatballs. I opted for a sandwich whose fillings were all Martina's own creation. I received a jumbo sandwich filled with a ton of delicious things, nice and warm and tasty...thanks also to the chef for his creation! But my thanks especially go to this girl who, with her smile, so much imagination, so much professionalism and expertise, managed to make me happy with a fantastic vegan lunch!

The atmosphere is lovely, especially the winter garden overlooking the square. They serve good aperitifs, but the outdoor dining options are very limited, even if you pay for it.

I liked the location and the service

Perfect place to spend an evening with friends. Outdoor seating is available in addition to the indoor seating. Drinks and food that make you want to order that extra something. Clean, tidy, and not chaotic, as it might seem when walking past. It gets crowded, especially in the evening, but the seating and order management is impeccable. The staff is very helpful and, after several happy hours elsewhere, they are ACTIVE LISTENERS. The girls are truly excellent. You've become a must-have for me and my friends.

I stopped by during the week for an aperitivo. Aside from the initial wait to order, I have to say everything went very well: friendly and knowledgeable waiters, generous portions, and a very pleasant atmosphere. More places should serve with such professionalism! Recommended!

Historic snack bar located at the entrance to the town, with a large adjacent parking lot with a parking disc, the atmosphere is very pleasant with tables also placed in the nearby square, abundant aperitif with various appetizers.

Extremely pleasant place, with soft lighting and a beautiful veranda overlooking the square. The piadinas are truly delicious and well-priced. Highly recommended for lunch!
