Aperitivo in the heart of the city's most famous bar. Excellent variety of tramezzini, which are their specialty; too bad the one we wanted wasn't available because it sold out! The staff was a bit aloof, but quick. Delicious and filling tramezzini, good prices considering the location!

Bar Nazionale is one of Padua's go-to aperitivo spots. Located in the famous Piazza delle Erbe, on the corner beneath the Palazzo della Ragione, on the side of the square's famous fountain, it's famous for its impeccably filled hot tramezzini with the perfect combination of flavors—truly the best in the city. Lately, the bar has been struggling to find staff, which unfortunately affects its service and its reputation.

The best tramezzini I've ever had, they cost about 3.50 each and the location is beautiful. The spritz is also good and reasonably priced.

Truly 5 stars for the service. Charming and helpful people. Keep it up, it's perfect. Thank you for passing through Padua with a small dog, very well accepted. Bravo. Drink prices very very affordable, even very reasonable and not excessive. 4 glasses of wine + 1 mineral water with chips: 17.50 euros. The tip is deserved. Thank you for your welcome.

I thought I'd get some great sandwiches, but I'd had too high expectations—they're just sandwiches, after all. However, half of the ones listed on the menu weren't available. As for the service, it was generally friendly, except for one person who, well, didn't do anything. Nothing tragic, pretty standard, bordering on disappointing. As for the place to eat, you're right outside the restaurant on the square, so it's fine even if there are pigeons, but those are a common problem in any city.

30/08/2025: Courteous, kind and super helpful! Very good pizzas and fries!!! Wonderful place full of little animals and lots of green space! Beautiful
26/08/2025: The ambiance is unbeatable; sitting on the terrace was wonderful. You can watch the many rabbits! The food was excellent (we had pizza and dessert), everything was top-notch. Dogs are welcome here (although many find it quite stressful to have rabbits hopping around in front of them). It took a while for a server to come back, and once they brought us sparkling water instead of plain water, but otherwise, there was nothing to complain about. We would definitely come back if we're in the area again!

09/07/2025: Our wedding lunch. Professionally assisted before and during the event by the owners. The indoor and outdoor venues were fabulous and well-maintained. The food and dishes were expertly prepared and of high quality. Everything was perfect, to the delight of us and our guests. Thanks to Annalisa, who was always present in the dining room, ready to answer any questions. Catering and reception services can't be improvised. It takes years of serious experience, and Luca's is all of this. Thank you.
