Bar Morbegno In Milano

Great bar for a quiet breakfast. Excellent cappuccino and fabulous donuts. They even let you reheat them. Welcoming and warm service. I recommend trying it.

A lovely family bar very close to the railway station. I spent a lovely couple of hours here having a few beers. The owner, speaks fluent German, after spending many years abroad. His son, Antonio, will take over his parent’s bar. Fluent in English, and very friendly. Lovely place, very clean. Very welcoming. A really important place for the neighboring clients and for others like me passing by. I wanted to return today, on my way back from Parma. But unfortunately they are closed on Sunday. During a one-week stay in this neighborhood, Bar Morbegno was our go-to place for quick, delicious food and a friendly atmosphere. Family-owned and run since 1982, it is a eatery where people know each other and welcome newcombers. English spoken. Suggested menu items: fresh-made paninis, tasty eggplant and (of course) coffee. Also, catch a glimpse of the passing tram!
