Beautiful old building, very nice hospitality

La Milanesa is a very special place: remote in a valley, the stream roars and the crickets chirp loudly. Our apartment was very spacious. The setup is simple and practical. Everything is very clean and appears well maintained. Unfortunately the rooms were a bit noisy. So we often thought that the apartment door was open because there was a lot of activity in the stairwell. A special highlight, especially on hot summer days, is of course the pool. The complex is spacious: several outdoor areas invite you to linger. There is also a small bar on the ground floor where you can also have breakfast from 9:30 a.m. In the evening there is warm food until 6:30 p.m. A very welcome opportunity to not have to cook for yourself after an eventful day. The prices there are very fair and the quality is also okay. A little information on the side: the road to the accommodation (or the alternative path along the stream) is quite steep. If you plan to travel with a stroller, you should be prepared for a short workout. Maybe not for everyone in July when it's 35 degrees. All in all, a great accommodation for people who don't want to miss out on the good location near Limone and are still looking for nature and peace.

Great place for a rest above Limone. If you're coming from Pregasina or Riva, this is a perfect opportunity to recharge your batteries before the hustle and bustle in Limone. Very nicely located by the waterfall, ideal if you have children with you. Very nice owners and great view of the valley! The homemade cake and carbonara were great and more than fair priced!
