Bar Milanesa In Limone sul garda

I walked with a guide on the percorso natura, from Limone up the footpath beside the tumbling St Giovanni stream, passing the waterfall to this little bar/restaurant (with accommodation). There are good views of the lake and Malcesine from the restaurant terrace. Then we walked along to the olive mill, and back down to Limone passing the pretty little church at chiesa di San Pietro. That's worth a look. A really enjoyable path, our small group took 4 hours at a gentle or moderate pace to complete the circuit (including a drinks stop here for around 25 minutes or so). The section back down on the tarmac road is easier than the ascent, but isn't as nice as the path through the forest. Some sections are quite steep, good footwear is needed. You can access La Milanesa by car too.

The perfect rest stop after visiting the waterfall! Cozy, affordable, and just the right place to relax. The surroundings are idyllic, and there's plenty of space for a short break. Highly recommended!

We have been coming here regularly for more than 12 years and spend our summer holidays in one of the apartments. This beautiful place, up in the mountain, as the last house, has a long history and is already run by the second or third generation. It is a lovingly run family business, the apartments are simple but very clean and have beautiful balconies from which you have a great view over the lake. In addition to a pool, the garden also includes several sunbathing areas, free parking spaces are available and a small bar with selected, delicious dishes and various drinks leaves nothing to be desired. The price-performance ratio is really exceptionally good. The service is top and the family that runs it is incredibly nice and runs the house with a lot of passion. We will continue to vacation here regularly. A wonderful place to slow down.
