Good, well-prepared coffee, the granita was delicious, as was the cassata, a typical Sicilian dessert. It's a small bar/ice cream shop right in front of the cathedral. The service was excellent, and the waitress was charming.

We came to this little place to try the irises, inspired by the excellent reviews we'd read, and I have to say it was a great choice. The baked irises are top-notch, and the fried ones are also very good, but a little heavier. The granitas are also very good.

09/10/2025: The best meal we’ve had so far in Palermo! They didn’t miss on anything we ordered (Pacheri Gambero Rossi and Agnello Lento). The deserts were fantastic too (deconstructed cannoli and a cassata gelato). We didn’t make reservations and walked in on a Wednesday evening with no wait for a table. Staff was friendly and fun. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a guaranteed culinary highlight of your trip to Palermo!
