We stumbled upon this bar by chance, looking for a place to grab a drink in rainy Lecco. The positive atmosphere was a big draw. The owner made us feel welcome. I highly recommend it!

Another reviewer had already praised how surprisingly good the food is for a “corner pub” – and it truly is! I recommend it to anyone who enjoys affordable and tasty food. The dishes arrived quickly, even though the terrace was packed with people during the last week of September. You might not be able to park your car right next to the place, but there is a paid parking lot about a hundred meters away where you’ll very likely find a spot. Reasonable prices, good service – I’d come here even from further away. One star off because inside the noise level was at shouting volume due to some drunk customers.

A very atmospheric and cozy café. For a reasonable price, you can enjoy delicious coffee and a snack. The service is also very friendly and helpful.

Stumbled upon Bar Manzoni while in Lecco, Greeted by Marco the owner, fantastic experience with plenty of small complimentary bites. Marco wouldn’t let us leave until we had a couple of complimentary Campari’s.🥴

16/03/2026: Overall, it was a good experience at Restaurant Portovino! Unfortunately, my spaghetti carbonara was still a bit hard, not even al dente, and there was way too much pepper on top. My friend's steak was delicious. The mussels as a starter were also good, but the baguette was rock hard.
29/10/2025: I ate the meat, which was very good. A bit underwhelming in my opinion. 100% recommended.

02/01/2026: This was one of the best meals my wife and I had on our trip to Lake Como. It’s a little further up the road from town, so a bit of a walk but there are some public paid parking available nearby. Every part of our dinner was great, both food and drink. Hospitality/service was great. We called ahead for a reservation and were able to eat outside. Would highly recommend this place, it’s worth it if you are in Varenna/Perledo area.
07/12/2025: A warm welcome, delicious food, indescribable flavors, local products, and exceptional service! The view of Lake Como is a bonus 😉
