Excellent pastry shop in the heart of Prato

Today, December 26, it was crowded. Unfortunately, there wasn't much space inside, but there were 8 of us. Everything was very good.

A historic bar in Prato. Founded in 1926, it's an important landmark in the city, both for traffic and for anyone passing through Piazza San Francesco. Here, you'll find Prato-style hospitality, refined over many years of service. If you're stopping by for a short time, you'll appreciate the magnificent selection of savory and sweet treats. If you're staying longer, you'll be able to soak up the Prato atmosphere, created by the atmosphere, the staff, and the patrons. When I was in elementary school, Bar Magnolfi was known for its donuts and cream-filled bomboloni, which, served hot at 5 p.m. every afternoon, filled the air with the aroma of local delicacies. Forty years later, I still feel the same way every time I walk in.

We stopped for a post-lunch coffee, but they had such delicious pastries that we even ordered dessert.

Great bar, a historic, classy venue, with excellent products and very friendly staff, but once you step into the bathroom... everything changes!!! The photos speak for themselves, but I want to emphasize this: Not only is there no toilet paper, but there are prehistoric crusts of dirt, the toilet seat is missing, one of the hinges that should hold the toilet seat is broken, as is the flush button, empty and/or poorly positioned product dispensers, and the wall looks like a sieve!!! In conclusion, the entire place is left in a Third World state of abandonment 😩☹️😱

Nice, but the coffee is a bit expensive, the bathroom is small and dirty.
