Bar Lario In Como

The pizza was very tasty. Well done. However, the waiter seated us (in winter, outside +1) next to the side door where you enter the kitchen, the exit door, some bottles and some other goods next to us, the way to the toilet... we didn't like it so we moved to a better place. There was some drunk lady who was making a scene in the toilet. She was banging on the door of the men's toilet because she didn't know it wasn't a women's one.

The fish-based dishes are exquisite

Excellent freshly squeezed orange juice, very kind and helpful. Come try the freshly squeezed orange juice, it's delicious!

We stopped for a quick lunch. Very friendly, fast, and everything was delicious. Sandwich, toast, and pizza. Simple but perfect. Fair price.

All three of us enjoyed our meals. My wife and son had Italian meals. Pasta dishes. I had a burger and fries. I am not a pasta fan. The fries were great and the burger was very good. The burger was served without bun. The service was very good. Our waiter was busy, but made sure everyone was taken care of It appeared to be a location for the locals. Everyone seemed to know each other. A friendly atmosphere. As we were leaving I noticed that the restaurant next door was empty. Totally empty. Just the staff. Everyone was eating here.

I had breakfast here.... The cappuccino was decent, as were the croissants. It has both indoor and outdoor tables (on the street). The outdoor ones have a lake view and are quite quiet since the road is not very busy (at least when I was there, it was).

Stopped for a coffee in the morning, decided to book a table for dinner.

Nice service, prices are ok for Como, close to the lake, I recommend

After strolling along Como’s lakeside, we enjoyed a refreshing break at a charming bar with lake views. The friendly waiter from Senegal made us feel welcome. We recharged with a rich espresso and a fresh mojito, soaking in the relaxing atmosphere and scenic beauty. A perfect pause in our day.

Good for an aperitif by the lake without getting ripped off, 😊
