Super fresh fish cooked on the grill in front of you. Very tasty grilled vegetables. The restaurant overlooks the new port with outdoor tables on the square (empty in the evenings). Simple but friendly service. Prices are reasonable (you choose the fish and have it weighed so you know how much you'll pay). I paid €70 per kg for an excellent snapper.

We had dinner at the "L'Aragosta" Bar and Restaurant two nights ago. The place is very charming and simple, with outdoor tables right on the pier. The dishes are delicious, plentiful, and the fish is incredibly fresh! For starters, we recommend their seafood risotto—truly excellent! For main courses, there's a selection of the day's catch and an open grill to cook it on the spot. In addition to the wonderful dining experience, we extend our compliments to the staff, especially to the waiter Liviu (Livio to his friends), who looked after us with professionalism and cheerfulness, making our dinner lively and enjoyable! Always very attentive, friendly, and helpful. If we return to Ventotene, we'll definitely be back to try other dishes!

Fresh fish, very tasty. However, the bill was really excessive. 500 euros for 5 adults and five children (including a toddler) doesn't sound reasonable. On top of that, we didn't get an itemized receipt to understand what was driving the costs. Fresh fish, very tasty. On the Ventotene pier, with a grill in front and baskets of fresh fish, this informal restaurant has quick and efficient staff. The dishes are all excellent and beautifully paired with side dishes. Well-stocked wine cellar. Fairly priced. Highly recommended.

Excellent portion of grilled fish, friendly and cordial stoker as well as the waiters. Fantastic chicory. Price in line with the seaside resort, penalized by the position on the commercial port which makes it less panoramic

12/01/2026: The staff were excellent, but the pizza didn't convince me! I'm giving it an overall 3 stars, averaging the ambiance and the food. I'll start with the positives: the location is truly charming and well-kept, and I'd like to highlight the kindness of the staff, who were very courteous and helpful throughout the evening. Unfortunately, however, the pizza experience was mediocre. Speaking as a Neapolitan, I found the dough decidedly too crispy, far from the soft style I prefer. Specifically, I didn't like the marinara: the sauce was a bit overcooked (losing its necessary freshness), the garlic was in whole cloves, and the anchovies were raw. It's a shame, because the atmosphere and service deserved a much higher rating, but the pizza could be improved. All in all, we'll be back for an update.
