Bar Linea is centrally located on Piazza Re Enzo, just a few steps from Piazza Maggiore – ideal for a quick coffee or drink in the historic heart of Bologna. Although... coffee is only available until 4 p.m., at least on Saturdays. The drinks menu is extensive: espresso, beer, wine, and even cocktails in the evening. Beware of the restroom situation: access to the restrooms is via a steep spiral staircase, and the cleanliness and condition are—let's just say... difficult.

We stopped here for coffee, while the waiter was quick to get our order, he sure didn't seem to care at all and just left coffee, and left. I didn't get a spoon or anything. So the experience wasn't anything nice, would go elsewhere.

We had just arrived in Bologna and wanted a quick meal. Lalinea as a first impression is a beautiful place in the main square, Unfortunately the attitude of the staff was at least indifferent and the service was poor. It took a while for the waiter to notice us so we could order a second beer. The food was mediocre.

Considerato le recensioni negative lette devo dire che di sera sul tardi ho trovato un ambiente opposto a quanto letto cameriere simpatico e cordiale ottimo drink. Vicino a piazza Maggiore e al Modernissimo

16/04/2025: First time I'm having a bad coffee in Italy. Quite busy and crowded as well and the staff is not able to keep up with table cleaning. Pastry is OK.
15/04/2025: Excellent, spacious bistro. Great pistachio croissant and very nice service. Offering a variety of pastries, smoothies and panini.
