Acerno's historic bar, long known for its famous Fragolata. Once a landmark of local tradition, today the place appears shabby and has retained its old-fashioned decor.
The Fragolata is delicious, very sweet, perhaps even too sweet: it loses some of the authentic flavor of wild strawberries. It's unclear whether the strawberries are wild or cultivated, making it difficult to assess the true quality of the product, especially considering that this tradition was once much more deeply felt and valued.
The serving size is as shown in the photo, costing €4.50 without cream. Not exactly a bargain for such a portion, but it's still a typical treat worth trying at least once.
Overall, a historic bar that thrives on memories and tradition rather than modern care, but the Fragolata remains its signature.
22/04/2025: Cibo ottimo, personale accogliente e cordiale, ampio parcheggio e locale molto carino. Si è mangiato benissimo e ad un prezzo davvero onesto, soprattutto per la qualità dei piatti. Consigliatissimo
