It's a tobacconist's and stationery shop... that transforms inside into a bar and... restaurant! An experience to be had... the food was AMAZING! The peposo was amazing, and I also tried the ossobuco... top! The fried mushrooms were delicious... I'll definitely be back and I highly recommend it!

We've been wanting to try Piccolo Bar di Vallecchia for a while, and we finally managed to stop in for lunch. The restaurant seats about thirty inside, in a pleasant air-conditioned room, and another thirty outside, ideal for cooler evenings. The menu is presented both on a blackboard and in paper format and offers a wide and interesting selection. Alongside traditional dishes, there are numerous daily specials featuring both meat and fish. Among these, slow-cooked dishes stand out, such as peposo and ossobuco in bianco, along with seafood dishes like fried anchovies and warm seafood salad. A cuisine that evokes the authentic flavors of times gone by, those of home recipes passed down over time, prepared with care and attention to quality. Adequate prices, satisfying portions, and well-executed dishes. A restaurant that left a great impression on us and, in our opinion, definitely worth the trip.

Randomly recommended by a fellow traveler from Bla Bla Car (the train strike had almost ruined my four-day Via Francigena), I arrived soaked after four hours of rain, but it was worth it. Excellent and varied food, quality ingredients, red beer on tap, and very friendly staff.

Excellent traditional home cooking. Excellent vegetables and meat. I also recommend the stuffed mussels (muscoli). Fast service, generous portions, and served hot. A pleasant surprise.

A truly AUTHENTIC place, much better than all the "posh" restaurants in Forte dei Marmi and the surrounding area. This restaurant offers a variety of meat and fish dishes, plus traditional Tuscan dishes, including excellent appetizers and first courses. (Truly AMAZING) The place is practical, with an indoor dining room and veranda perfect for any season. The staff is amazing, very kind and friendly. I recommend it to anyone looking for a place to eat really well. If I have the chance, as soon as I escape Milan again, I'll be back with great pleasure ❤️

Everything was great, both in terms of food and service. It's a shame that you had to pass through the smoking area to get to your table. It's certainly not a discriminatory factor, and I'd return, but it might be a nuisance for non-smokers.
