Small, cosy restaurant with lovely family atmosphere. The food was delicious- relatively simple traditional dishes, lovingly prepared, generous portions. Particularly appreciated good choice of dishes that were not overwhelmingly rich. Friendly and caring service. Decor a bit worn but very clean and comfortable. Would happily go back if our stay were longer.

Great music. I really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and freshly made. The service was excellent. Marco was very attentive and provided great service. Reasonable prices for the area. I ordered tacliatelle with ragu, water, coffee, and a "della' nonna" lemon dessert that was spectacular. All for €28. They also have a cocktail bar, and Marco knows how to make many different kinds. He treated me to a non-alcoholic watermelon cocktail that was delicious. This place has it all.

We've been frequenting Il Calice for a long time. Mirko has always been kind and friendly to us, and he makes excellent cocktails.

Mirko looked after our party of 7, did an amazing job. The mortadella just melted in your mouth, tortellini in broth, slow cooked tomatoes in 6hrs to die for as a sauce and grandmas cake as a dessert topped it all off. If you want authentic bolognese food this is the place to go, highly recommend it.

Very nice and cozy place. The waiter Mirco was lovely, gave good recommendations for the food. The food itself was amazing aswell, would recommend the Mortadella and the classic Tortellini in broth, it was beautiful. Dessert grandma cake was also incredible.

07/04/2025: Muy cerca de la concurrida plaza mayor de Bolonia se encuentra este local que funciona como fiambrería, comidas para llevar y restaurante. Lugar ideal para hacer un stop recorriendo el lugar más visitado de la ciudad Más allá de los sándwiches encontramos una interesante carta y probamos una burrata con tomates y pulpo con papas, todo muy bueno. Muy buen servicio Precios medios
