The mango gelato was outstanding. I feel bad that they get such terrible reviews when I don't think the gelateria is affiliated with the bar. I think their two independent businesses. I can't speak for the bar, but I loved the gelateria.

I enjoyed a delicious panini con porchetta with cheese and a bruschetta. The location right after the gate is perfect for people-watching. The owner was very friendly and provided excellent service. I can't understand the bad reviews at all.

I only had porchetta in a panini here, so this review only refers to that. Attracted by the look, I had to try it. But unfortunately, it wasn't quite my taste.

The porchetta is a very good local specialty. The menu also includes truffle pizza, fitto misto, desserts, coffee, and drinks. It's a bar, so don't expect waiters in tailcoats; it's Tuscan, warm, and friendly. We return here every time we visit San Gimignano. This time, we chose the porchetta with salad and the insalata with all the toppings and a bit of porchetta. It was very similar, but the proportions were reversed.

Good in a gelato emergency. Obviously a tourist trap, but walk up service was quick and efficient.

If you want to have breakfast here, this is the ideal place. It's at the beginning of the access road to the village and has a variety of pastries and sandwiches. We ordered two coffees and two croissants for only €11, which for a medieval town with a large tourist draw, was the cheapest so far.
