We visited this very nice restaurant on a visit to San Gimignano in October 2024. We stopped to have a pizza for lunch. The two pizzas we had were the best we ate during our 3 week visit to Italy! There is also a very nice wine tasting room In the premises (presumably for functions?). We weere surprised to see it was described as a gelato bar on google as it seemed more of a cafe to us and its signage describes it as “Caffe Combattanti”. Anyway if you are in this lovely town and want pizza stop here. The extensive menu also listed other foods and the owner’s wife was carving e fresh roast pork and making delicious Looking rolls. Very nice owners and the place was spotlessly clean!

Artisan ice cream with local flavors such as Ricciarelli with almonds, delicious, at a valid price for the contest. Advised!

Beautiful and welcoming place, well stocked and well maintained, located just after the entrance from the medieval gate, it is the point of reference for an excellent coffee and a delicious breakfast or stopping for a snack and starting the evocative visit of the historic village.

Excellent place to taste a nice porchetta sandwich, on the outskirts of the historic center of San Giminiano I recommend a stop to taste the super porchetta sandwich prepared by the very kind lady Claudia. I highly recommend it

The bad reviews here are in no way understandable to me. We've been going there for years and have never had a bad experience. Neither in the food nor in the service. Always my pleasure! 👌
