We stopped there on our way to Siena to rest and have a snack. The staff was very friendly, and the place is ideal for a simple meal like pizza or a sandwich and a beer at a reasonable price. They have free parking. And we even had a visit from a beautiful kitten.

A historic bar along the Via Francigena. Besides serving as an important social gathering place, it offers an excellent selection of cured meats for equally excellent sandwiches! It's also recently opened as a local food store. It also has large outdoor and indoor spaces, with a tentative—but still encouraging—experiment of a popular library.

Bar and grocery store in the small, quintessentially Tuscan village of Ponte d'Arbia on the Cassia road, not far from Montalcino. Popular with locals, it also often hosts tourists visiting the area. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a typical village bar, a meeting place for locals, and the atmosphere is cheerful and friendly. The cappuccino is average and the prices are fair. Worth a try.

Very nice, delicious liver crostini, super reasonable prices, I recommend it to anyone who travels along the Via Francigena or the Eroica by bike

One of the most friendly and warmest greetings we have had from the wayside, local, bars. Full of help and with excellent choices and at very reasonable prices. Plus they have a Via Francigena stamp.
