⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A top spot in Palermo! The service was extremely friendly and attentive – you immediately feel welcome. The quality of the drinks and snacks was excellent. A particularly positive aspect: great parking nearby, which isn't a given in Palermo. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Average deli. Unfortunately, I got the fried calzone with cooked ham and raw buffalo mozzarella inside. I don't recommend it because I think it's very likely to be like that, given the way it's cooked. The pastries, I think, are the strong point; the cannoli are very good, with ricotta that isn't too sweet (unlike I've had elsewhere).

An unexpected surprise ☺️ I found myself in that area by mistake at 7.30 this morning, heading towards the airport after a very short business stay in San Vito... It was chilly, I was tired and cold as well as on a diet 🤭, waiting for them to pick me up... in the wrong place... So I entered the Bar Golden and the counter greeted me good morning with freshly baked savory and sweet products... a lush vision of delicacies, to satisfy all palates. Obviously I filled my eyes but not my mouth 😅... I ordered a chamomile and the owner of the bar, hearing my strong Milanese accent 😝 had the kindness to offer me 3 typical biscuits with sesame, which among other things I really appreciated because they were not too sugary... After a very pleasant chat with Roberto, when on the doorstep, he called me and gave me a much appreciated gift... a cassata made by his dad pastry chef. I don't really like sugar shops 😊 but his unexpected gesture, his generosity of soul and beauty of heart, typical of the magical land of Sicily, touched my heart! So I accepted with great enthusiasm because having lived in Paris for 25 years now, these spontaneous and disinterested gestures are now very rare 🙏🏼 Thanks Roberto, I tasted the Cassata... I admit that I ate all the ricotta, which was very well processed and equally delicate. I promise that on my next visit to Palermo I will stop by to offer you a coffee and chat further.
