The ambience has a somewhat coarse, not to say morbid, charm. The Italian regular audience consists of the 70+ generation and a few young people who go for a beer. There are snacks, dolci, ice cream, coffee specialties, draft and bottled beer, as well as Prosecco, by the glass or in a liter carafe. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly and quick to serve. There is a guest garden that is separated from the street with wild wine. There is a second garden behind the restaurant. The furniture in the restaurant is a bit old, but was probably built to last and, together with the slot machines, adds to the atmosphere. We have been here several times on our hikes and we always liked it. When purchasing the carafe of Prosecco, ask about the price in advance; there was a misunderstanding on our last visit.

Small "rebechin" for lunch with a cold cuts plate for two, 4 croutons and drinks. 62 euros for 4 people. It seemed cute to me...

It's the classic little suburban bar, discovered by chance but I've always been happy to go back for years. Lorena's new management has brought several new dishes but has maintained those of the old management: a winning move because the sandwich with raw ham is excellent (be careful that on Sundays the bread is defrosted and reheated and you can taste it). Very honest prices. Highly recommended.

21/01/2025: given the difficulty of booking I was thinking of a much better experience already off to a bad start when we entered, when asked if we had booked and when I answered in the affirmative, the lady was annoyed by the fact that instead of mentioning my surname as per the reservation I said my name (days had passed and I didn't remember which reference I had given) apart from this, regarding the food: good homemade gnocchi but the roast sauce is decidedly too soupy, "Istrian" fuzi (specified in the menu) which look more like garganelli seasoned with the same sauce ljubyanska and fried chicken were good though Decent house wine negative service, no smile, zero empathy from the lady in the room bordering on embarrassing score due almost exclusively to the coldness of those who served us and the atmosphere in general There is definitely better in the area
25/11/2024: A bit silent but very efficient waitress, she manages the entire room alone. Informal atmosphere, very good food and wine. Absolutely honest price.

Harry's Grill

31/01/2025: Thanks to chef Pandullo for the beautiful evening yesterday. The dishes he proposed are a feast for the palate, together with the kind and impeccable service.
05/01/2025: In the square: queue to enter the restaurant in front, a scene for tourists because I've already tried it before, so I choose Harry's, no queue, relaxed environment without crowds with less "cacciarona" customers, had a chocolate with cream and a Viennese coffee , service up to par, spent €10, other times had an aperitif, I confirm my preference for Harry's over red herrings, personal opinion obviously!
