Bar Gianicolo In Roma

10/10, really. After climbing the hill in all the heat, this place feels like an oasis in the desert. The staff are all so kind, with a very good attitude, excellent service, and delicious tapas. To say that I spent my birthday here and I don't regret it says it all!

It's worth all the stars for the friendliness and kindness of the waitress... I only drank one beer, I can't judge the rest

Bar Gianicolo – Postcard view, shame about the rest Sitting at the outdoor tables of the Bar Gianicolo is a small luxury. Too bad the dream ends as soon as the menu arrives... or the waiter, when he arrives. The food? Let's say it makes you miss the service station machines. Anonymous sandwiches and prices that seem designed for those who "won't come back anyway". The service? Distracted, listless, as if it were a nuisance to serve. A wasted opportunity in one of the most beautiful areas of the city. It wouldn't take much: an extra smile, a decent sandwich and a minimum of care to really make a difference. Because the Janiculum deserves much more.
