After many years that I often come to have breakfast at this bar and never had any kind of problem, today I have to regretfully show my complaint because there is a lack of staff and for this reason I was not served at the table as every time. I brought some friends to this trusted bar sure of the excellent service and instead I was disappointed making a bad impression. My thanks go to an employee named 'Ciccio' who did his best to follow us to the table and offering service.

01/10/2025: This nice bar on the main street is the perfect spot for breakfast — a freshly-baked brioche with refreshing granita. From your table, you can watch the rhythm of Modica slowly unfold: tourists wandering a bit aimlessly, locals going about their daily routines, groups of old men lingering over conversations, their voices carrying through the air. Sitting here, you feel part of the city’s gentle morning pulse.
06/09/2025: The best granita and cremolata in Modica, fantastic service from Ana and the owner. Try the ricotta and fichi cremolata, delicious.

11/10/2025: As the name suggests: lost flavors. Inexpensive cuisine with the tastes of yesteryear. Typical dishes made just like at home. I recommend booking. Very often full even out of season because the locals go there. For me, the best in Modica.
11/10/2025: Excellent restaurant and superb service despite the restaurant being packed since I went on a Sunday for lunch. Excellent menu, from appetizers to dessert (the mini cannoli were very popular). Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!
