The terrace above the canal and right next to the La Academia bridge is sensational for a drink. Wonderful views towards Santa María de la Salute. Now, be clear, they are going to give you such a shock that you are going to be shaking, like in all these places. Inside is a dodgy place. I would avoid it to eat, but to have something to eat in a special corner, it is recommended.

The place is wonderful. The service is no good... Rather indifferent. A simple smile would immediately raise the rating for this bar.

Situated by the water, this is a nice bar and restaurant. They have an indoor dining area as well as an al fresco area right by the water and the bridge. From the al fresco area, you'll be able to see the dome of the Santa Maria della Salute. Food here is so-so. The cod fish was good but the pizza was average. Staff are friendly and helpful. I recommend having lunch here if you want to try this place.

22/03/2025: The service was a bit slow, but the food was delicious and the location was very convenient. I found the prices very fair in comparison.
04/03/2025: I rarely give straight 5 stars but this was best experience so far in Venice, right below our hotel 😍 Coffee was best flavor and quality we found in the city. It's hard to find a great salad anywhere but this was a huge bowl full of very fresh flavorful diverse greens, gently warmed juicy shrimp, fresh sweet grated carrots, a perfect boiled egg, and delicious tuna that was superior to normal dry tuna. The pizza we had was also best in the city. The mushrooms were exquisite and all the flavors just perfect. Our server was super kind and attentive. Just a really lovely experience overall. Thank you! 🥰

13/03/2025: I haven’t tried any food here but it’s the best espresso I’ve had in Venice by FAR! A 9/10 double espresso, the only think it was missing was that I like it to be a touch thicker/creamier than this was but every other cup I’ve had has been like water.
21/02/2025: So, we understand that we are in Venice💸💸 but it's not Piazza San Marco😅...€2.80 for a coffee and €6 for a glass of wine (a simple red wine, not a DOC wine by the glass...) seems a bit exaggerated to me...I can understand the costs of the desserts, however, €6 euros for a slice of cake, very good and €3 for the cannoli, even the very good and well-filled ones, worth trying! However, we are not sure about drinks... it really seems like a tourist trap... It's a shame because the location is nice with the stalls outside and it is located in a less congested street than other areas.
