Best place to eat in Bergamo! Charming inside and very nice waitress!

We stopped at this bar for an aperitif. The wait was really long and the service was uncoordinated: they brought the three (not exceptional) cocktails we ordered separately.

I ordered a croissant with boiled/baked ham, and it came with raw prosciutto. The coffee was ordinary, and the fresh orange juice was delicious. The menu is a bit confusing, the prices are high, and the tables are extremely crowded; if it weren't for the lack of traffic, I'd be touching shoulders with the table next to me. It's okay to have a coffee and a snack. But I still think it's a tourist trap.

Great bar, located right on the main square and by the basilica. A very large selection of drinks. We didn't eat there, but the food at neighboring tables looked very tasty.

Delicious cappuccino and cornetto. The sandwiches are also very tasty.

Great for a late-afternoon Aperol. Affordable and served with snacks.

Returning from Caorle, after a long weekend at the beach. A prelude to vacation. We stop for a break in Bergamo Alta, immersed in the timeless beauty of one of Italy's most charming squares: Piazza Vecchia. A corner of architectural harmony, where every corner speaks of centuries of history and culture. In one of the most picturesque corners of the square, we find this Bar Restaurant with outdoor seating offering a priceless view of the entire Renaissance square. The service is dynamic, courteous, and very attentive, a perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. Inside, on the ground floor, a small tobacco corner adds a touch of practicality, while the bathroom—though compact—is well-maintained and functional. A staircase leads to an intimate room on the first floor, ideal for a quiet moment away from the hustle and bustle of the square. The dishes we sampled stood out for the evident quality of the ingredients and the care taken in their preparation. Even the coffee, often overlooked in touristy locales, is truly excellent here. Prices are absolutely in line with the area, where the beauty of the place is reflected in an experience that goes beyond a simple meal. As Marco Bragato writes in Sfidati: "The sun tests you, but it's in the shade of a well-needed break that you find energy and direction." Tuvimos una tarde maravillosa protegiendo de la lluvia beber vino y comer. La hospitalidad italiana en su mejor momento. Gracias a Nicolo por cuidarnos tan bien

Después de leer todas las reseñas decidimos tomar un aperitivo aquí. Estábamos decepcionados. Ensalada Capresee que eran unas pequeñas bolas de mozzarella y una carga de medio tomate cherry picado y algunas hojas de cohete. No estoy seguro de qué pasó con haber cortado mozzarella, cortado tomates grandes y albahaca. Tuve que preguntar por la albahaca y me dijeron que no había nada así que se le dio aceite de albahaca en su lugar. Bruschetta de nuevo fue un poco de pan tostado suave con tomates cherry a la mitad, cantidad de tiempo de mozzarella y cohete. Tuve el peor spritz de aperol aquí que ni siquiera era un spritz era sólo vino plano.
