Bar Farnese In Roma

Excellent bar that I occasionally frequent when I pass through the Campo de Fiori area. The coffee is great. The place is beautiful, well structured and cared for. The friendly and competent staff.

Drinks: we had Bellini, White Lady, Aperol Spritz and others. After a week in Rome I have to say that we had by far the best cocktails here. All were prepared in front of us and tasted great. Especially with Bellini you can tell whether someone knows their craft - ripe fruit finely pureed and served with small snacks. Simply great.

We came to this quant bar because of an instagram highlighting Angelo, who has been working here since 1939. It absolutely lived up to the hype and it was great to see Angelo and how passionate he was to put a smile on everyone’s faces.

Italians and their needs for morning sweets. Having breakfast in Rome was a complicated task and it was not easy here either. At 10:30 a.m. a large amount of pastries, cakes and croissants, but not very salty. In fact, they didn't yet have the materials (or the desire) to serve anything that wasn't sweeter than your nephew's kisses. In fact, we were the first mixed sandwich of the day thanks to the waitress who served us THANK YOU (if you read it, you are very big and have a nice day)! Very creamy coffee in stately glasses and on a very quiet terrace, away from tourism despite being adjacent to Campo Di Fiori. The mixed sandwich was very beautiful, in fact we only ordered one for the two of us due to its size. Quality/price quite happy with the choice and grateful to our saving waitress. Two coffees and a mixed sandwich = €13.5 (Good price for Rome, very expensive for coming from Spain) Continue enjoying!

Oysters were not fresh but they removed it from The bill. Service was good

Excellent coffee and a variety of good breakfast choices. The service was lovely and efficient.

This is a truly classic, local bar with a gracious elderly owner/barista, Angelo, who greets everyone with a smile. He opens the bar at 6 AM and makes the best maritozzi buns with whipped cream that he makes with a whisk. Cappuccino is delicious and you can sit outside or inside without paying more than eating at the counter. We chose our apartment so that we could have breakfast every morning at this local gem and walk everywhere in Rome during the day. The bar is open until 9 PM so you can visit any time of the day.

The cocktails are delicious, especially the Spritz accompanied by these homemade canapes. Great location.

Excellent selection of wines, interesting selection of snacks to accompany. Pleasant environment, slightly too crowded at times.
