A beautifully converted old railway station into a restaurant on the cycling route through the Kanalska dolina. Prices are normal. A great stop for cyclists.

Former Chiusaforte station where there is a bar: worth a stop! We had some coffees (€3.90 for two macchiatos and a smooth one) and enjoyed the view. Friendly and helpful staff. Advised!

Refreshment point on the Alpe Adria cycle path which is very useful as it is well stocked and has a kitchen.

Super friendly meeting point for people from the village and cyclists on the Ciclovia Alpe-Adria, who are also allowed to camp on the meadow next door and for whom there is a simple washing facility and advice on bicycle problems.

20/11/2024: I have been there several times and it has always been a wonderful experience. Top food, location and staff!!
18/11/2024: We returned several years after our previous experience and, as we hoped, we were very, very satisfied. We went for a birthday with several people and they offered us a personalized menu with two appetizers, a first course, a second course with a side of potatoes and vegetables, drinking bitter coffee and, if we requested it, we brought the cake ourselves. Highly recommended
