An essential stop for anyone visiting Gerace. It offers one of the best granitas on the Ionian coast in Calabria. The portions are very generous at fair prices for the quality offered (6 euros for the average one). Brioche not as exceptional as the granita but still good and quality. The ice cream is also excellent (fabulous pistachio flavour). Strange that the small granita costs only 50 cents less than the medium one. All granitas are served with a kind of cream puff that resembles brioche tuppo.

We purchased two granitas, one with bergamot and the other with citrus fruits. Honestly we expected more, also because the granita still had some pieces of ice, the bergamot, at the first bite seems good but also considering the large quantity after a short while, the brioche on top was very good. However they told me that the pistachio one is very good, I didn't give a 5 to the service because initially they didn't want to give me a separate receipt with the people at the table. Very nice environment.

Prima di assaggiare la granita di questo bar, non immaginavo cosa potesse essere!! Vivendo al Nord Italia, da oltre 60 anni pensavo di aver mangiato la granita molte volte.... Ed invece NO!!
