A true highlight in Palermo! The coffee was simply fantastic – strong, aromatic, and exactly how you'd expect it in Italy. The bar exudes genuine local charm, without any tourist clichés. An unforgettable moment: A regular walked in without a word, quietly playing his lottery ticket, the barista poured an espresso without comment – and everything was just perfect. Not a word was exchanged, but it was clear that everything here has its own unique rhythm. This scene was simply wonderful and so typically Italian! We would love to come here every day – for the coffee, the atmosphere, and this special flair. A definite recommendation for anyone who wants to experience the real Palermo.

The most local vibe ever! If you want to try a great Italian coffee and good Cornetto, that’s the place to go. There is only few typical Italian coffees to choose from, few pastries and the loveliest barista ever. Coffee is served at the bar, so no sitting, as typical Italians and the prices are also Italian and not touristic. Really I am in love with this place :) Barista is also very kind. I will gladly come back!

It's worth coming here once! The espresso tasted a little burnt..ㅎ But the flavor was good~!!

I was feeling sleepy after lunch so I went to get an espresso. It must have been hot in a place without air conditioning, but the owner was really well-dressed and made the coffee so cool.✨

It's really so delicious ㅠㅠㅠ While I was walking in the early morning, I heard the sound of someone washing cups, so I turned my head and saw someone who looked like a coffee master. And then a little while later, I went to have coffee... It was really so delicious. So I drank 2 cups on the spot I ate nearby and came back to have some more. I was so sad that I found it on my last day in Palermo. If I had known in advance, I could have drank 2 cups every morning and started my day happily!! Boss, I definitely want to visit again next time I go to Palermo, so stay healthy!! - It was so, so delicious 😭😭😭 It was the best coffee I’ve ever had. While I was out for an early morning walk, I heard the sound of someone washing cups from somewhere, so I turned my head and saw someone who looked like a true coffee master. And then a little while later, I went to have some coffee... It was honestly so so… good. I ended up drinking two cups right there on the spot, then went to eat meal nearby and came back for drink another one coffee. I was so sad to have only discovered this place on my last day in Palermo. If I had known earlier, I would’ve come every morning and had two cups to start my day with happiness!! To the owner: I hope you stay healthy—because next time I’m in Palermo, I definitely want to come back!! so please take care and stay healthy until then.🫶

Baldo is the Best. A true authentic experience. Best coffee in Palermo and beyond. Baldo uses a precision and dedication to prepare each single coffee that is indescribable. I loved this place.

recommended by a local friend, saying it's the best espresso here. But, I dont know why the barista tried to ignore me when I stood patiently at the bar waiting for him finished chatting with his friends. When I finally tried to greet him by saying Ciao, he pointed out one finger and implied that he needed a few moments. Although the espresso might be nice and only cost 1.2 euros, still I won't recommend this place to other foreigners..

Best cappuccino i’ve had in a long time! Delicious and nice strong taste of espresso. Loved the stand up bar & the croissant as well. Very reasonable price for the coffees and pastries. Will be returning for our daily cappuccinos while in Palermo!
