A traditional, no-frills place. The ladies are very kind, and the service is simple but professional. Highly recommended.

Without a doubt the best porchetta sandwiches!!

Aperitif with friends in early January in the city center. The setting of Piazza della Frutta is always worth it. The place is beautiful and traditional. The tramezzini and prosecco are excellent. Prices are a bit high, even though they're served in the city center. The only disappointing thing was the waiter insisting on having us get sandwiches in addition to the tramezzini we'd already ordered, which weren't as small as he said. He then nearly took our glasses away from the table before we'd finished our drinks. This happened twice. I understand that on Saturdays you want to clear tables quickly, but we'd only been there 10 minutes. At least give us time to consume our food! I suggest the management train their waiters better on how to treat customers. It's a shame, because I really felt anxious for once when I wanted to be at peace. I don't know if I'll be back anytime soon.

Located in Piazza della Frutta in the center of Padua, Bar dei Osei has been the go-to place for aperitivo for years. An Aperol Spritz and a freshly made hot porchetta sandwich are the perfect combo. The tramezzini are another must-try for aperitivo! They're generously filled with excellent quality ingredients; reheated, they're even better! We recommend the ones with porchetta (zucchini or eggplant) or the classic prosciutto and mushrooms, always a sure thing. The service is excellent and fast, and the bar owner is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always smiling. If you're in the center of Padua, this is the place to go for a great aperitivo!

We stopped in for an Aperol Spritz and some tramezzini. The classic ham, mushrooms, and cheese were noteworthy; peppers and porchetta, cabbage, sopressata, and cheese. Finally, the tuna and spring onions were also very good. The only drawbacks were the lack of a menu and the fact that they didn't arrive hot, even though we requested it. Recommended!

Porchetta Sandwich Nothing to say... spectacular! Soft bread, delicious, and tender porchetta. The kind of sandwich that makes you want another one right after the last bite. Simple yet delicious, as only well-made things can be.
