Not sure why this place is so busy while pigeons are flying around spreading all the germs on food if you stand and eat there. On top of that, a porchetta sandwich is tiny and costs 4.5eur while at Al Merca which is right there, it's 5eur but so much better. Service comes with no smile and the sandwich is ok but nothing special.

Sinceramente i tramezzini non sono nulla di che; tonno e uova senza nemmeno un filo di maionese. Anche car poi. Posto molto famoso, ma più che altro una grossa delusione.

Historic bar in Padua, the sandwiches with porchetta and mortadella are sublime, the fresh and well-garnished sandwiches are a guarantee, especially the one with fresh vegetables. Savoring everything warmed up is the treat. A note to the owner, always present, courteous and cheerful! A stop not to be missed if you pass through Padua. The true tradition, under the portico of the marvelous Palazzo della Ragione called "under the hall"

On a beautiful sunny Saturday, we had two beers to drink together with the folpetti ordered from the nearby kiosk with which they collaborate: despite the crowd and our "tiny" order, the lady and the girl at the counter were very kind.
Furthermore, we saw beautiful sandwiches and very inviting sandwiches passing by, so the next time we return to Padua, we will definitely go and try some of their specialties.

Typical bar from the past,
in the main square of Padua.
Few seats and tasteful bathrooms like chemical ones. However, the quality of the porchetta is excellent! Good place for a quick snack or an aperitif

Posto storico di Padova. Lo spritz, il panino alla porchetta caldo e il Tramezzino alle verdure sono il top!! E mai trovato in nessun altro posti dei tramezzini così. Cio' che però mi fa sempre tornare molto volentieri è l'impeccabile gentilezza, cortesia e professionalità della titolare !! Più che turistico come scrivono alcune recensioni, questo luogo è una vera icona padovana, dove trovi tutti padovani e non solo ovviamente!
