Great breakfast place with lovely people

Given that the first time I entered this bar in 1994 as a child I vividly remember Mr. Giancarlino very kind and polite always, his love for the Viola Fiorentino and a varied selection of coffee beans in the corner to be ground at the moment that perfumed the entire street, today the management has passed down the family from generation to generation maintaining the courtesy in the service, the coffee is still very good, they have a selection of special croissants and truly all to try, entering this bar you collaborate to preserve and support a historic family that has always maintained a service to the tourist and local customer since 1986.

Okay, nothing special. The service is extremely slow!

I have been to this beautiful bar several times. Qualified staff, excellent food, good cocktails. Quick service and above all the girl Lisa very kind and friendly, she always made me feel at ease. I will definitely return other times.

A cozy little bistro in the heart of Baveno. They serve delicious snacks (toast, sandwiches) and make you feel very welcome. It's also perfect for an aperitif. The staff is very friendly!

Serving this was too slow for breakfast but everything was homemade and delicious.

Solid coffee and croissants at fair prices. There's certainly some background noise from the nearby street. Unfortunately, I can only agree with the previous reviews: the service is mostly chaotic and visibly overwhelmed, with some unjustified waits and chaotic and unpleasant situations, even when paying. It's a shame, because the croissants, coffee, and Aperol are actually quite good.
